Terms & Conditions

By using this site, you expressly accept the general considerations, terms and conditions indicated below:

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS  

1. All prices for product and services are in US dollars ($ USD).

2. Payments will be made directly through the Payment Portal or the Exam Portal.

3. Payments can be made through the Stripe platform as well as PayPal.

4. In order to make any payments through the PayPal platform it is required to create an account before any payment can be made.

5. You need to require an LDMI ID before making any purchase or acquiring any LDMI product or service. (you can request it by sending us an email at support@legaldminstitute.org)

6. All personal data provided by our customers will be protected according to our Privacy Policy.

7. All applications for certifications (except for the Exam route) or to become an Accredited Training Provider will be reviewed within a period of 1 to 3 business days.

8. Invoices and receipts generated from product or service purchases will be subject to US federal and state taxes.

9. All forms of payments are available including debit cards, credit cards, international wire transfers, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. (Google Pay and Apple Pay are available only for US and Canada customers)

10. Some products are available through third-party online retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indigo, among others.

 

TERMS OF SERVICES AND PROHIBITIONS

As a condition of use, you promise not to use the LDMI’s product or services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, or any other purpose not reasonably intended. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use the services:

1. To post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane, or that infringes any copyright o other rights of any person;

2. To communicate with LDMI representatives or other users in an abusive or offensive manner;

3. For any purpose (including posting or viewing content) that is not permitted under the laws of the jurisdiction where you use the services

4. To post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any LDMI customer;

5. To create or transmit unwanted ‘spam’ to any person or any URL;

6. To post copyrighted content that does not belong to you, unless you are commenting on visual content in Blogs, where you may post such content subject to provide appropriate attribution to the copyright owner and a link to the source of the content.
