Participants in accredited certification courses delivered by accredited training providers, by accredited educational institutions, or through our eLearning portal are eligible to apply for entry-level and/or professional certifications offered by the Institute
Accredited Courses
Accredited Courses are official courses taught by an accredited training provider or by an academic partner, which grant one of the Institute’s credentials and/or badges. Our accredited courses are divided into three types:
Workshops
Workshops are practical courses designed to teach lawyers, legal service providers, and marketers a specific skill needed to achieve a specific goal (for example: How to sell legal services). Workshops typically range between 8 and 12 hours.
Short Courses
Short courses are designed to teach participants the theory, tools, and techniques to solve a specific legal marketing issue. Most short courses come in the form of masterclasses and are taught by accredited training providers. Short courses (in most cases) are associated with an official certificate such as the Legal Marketing Fundamentals™ or the Legal Copywriting Fundamentals™ certificates, depending on the topic being taught.
Fundamentals Courses
These introductory courses are designed to introduce lawyers, legal service providers, and marketers to the disciplines of legal marketing and sales, teaching the fundamental concepts necessary to begin their journey into more advanced topics.
Associate-level Courses
Associate-level courses are designed to teach professionals the theory, tools, and techniques needed to work as associates on legal marketing projects. Associate-level professionals typically support legal marketing efforts within a marketing department and are equipped with the fundamental knowledge required to develop a legal marketing plan and implement a legal marketing strategy. Associate-level courses are associated with associate-level certifications such as the Certified Legal Marketing Associate™ credential.
Specialization Courses
Specialization courses are designed to teach a specific legal marketing discipline to those who wish to become specialists in a specific field of legal marketing. Specialization courses are associated with specialization-level certifications such as the Certified Legal Marketing Specialist™ credential.
Professional Courses
This courses are designed to teach advanced legal marketing skills to those who wish to practice as a legal marketing professional. Professional courses are associated with professional-level certifications such as the Certified Legal Digital Marketer™ credential.

Core Courses
Legal Marketing Advanced Course (LMAC)
In this professional course, participants will learn step by step how to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy covering all the sub-disciplines of digital marketing applied to legal services.
Legal Marketing Core Course (LMCC)
In this course, participant will learn the fundamentals of legal marketing and how to create a successful marketing plan for their legal practice.
Specialization Courses
Branding for Legal Services (BFLS)
In this course, participants will learn step by step how to develop a branding strategy to build an online reputation, build trust and share your vision, mission and values to your potential clients.
Content Marketing for Legal Services (CMLS)
In this course, participants will learn step by step how to develop a content marketing strategy (in different formats and through different platforms) to build an online audience, build authority, and bring more clients to their law firms.
Social Media Marketing for Lawyers (SMFL)
In this course, participants will learn step by step how to develop a social media strategy to build an audience, share content, build an online reputation and bring more clients to their law firms.
Search Engine Optimization for Law Firms (SEOFL)
In this course, participants will learn step-by-step how to develop a search engine optimization strategy to rank their law firm’s website as high as possible in search results.
Fundamental Courses
Legal Marketing Fundamentals Course (LMFC)
This course is designed to provide lawyers and legal marketers with a foundational understanding of marketing principles tailored specifically to the legal industry.
Legal Copywriting Fundamentals Course (LCFC)
This course introduces lawyers and legal marketers to the art of writing persuasive and engaging copy tailored to the legal industry, combined with essential sales techniques for legal services.
Workshops
Sales Workshop for Lawyers (SWFL)
This workshop is designed to equip lawyers with actionable strategies to sell their services effectively. The first three modules focus on core sales knowledge and techniques, while the final module is dedicated to practical simulation exercises. Each module builds on the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive and interactive learning experience.
